The Child Care Experience™ Program (CCE) is an advanced and immersive childcare simulation providing a real-world caregiving practice for students pursuing early childhood education as a career.
This classroom based program integrates life-like Infant Simulators, software, and curriculum to deliver a fully interactive learning experience that simulates the complex responsibilities of infant care. CCE allows students to step into the role of an Early Childhood Educator / Carer, simulating a childcare centre experience, managing the needs of multiple 3 to 9 month old infants in a safe, controlled environment.
During a Child Care Experience™ Program Simulation, Students can:
- Decide whether the Babies need feeding, burping, rocking, changing, soothing, or saved from choking
- Log all care events in the Baby Care Journal
- Handle the infants correctly and respond to their needs
- Manage multiple infants simultaneously
- Respond to random infant health and parent communication scenarios.
The Child Care Experience Software can:
- Track child abuse; successful, attempted, or missed care; notes logged in the Baby Care Journal; responses to random scenarios; and which student addressed each Care Event

- Babies come in multiple skin tones, representing a diverse population For diaper change events, the infant must be on the changing pad buckled in Students are required to log in and specify that they washed their hands after changing a diaper before picking up the infant again to reinforce that they take the time in real life to think through that extra step in the process

- CCE Babies offer feedback so students know care events were performed correctly, like cooing after a fussy event or making eating sounds during a feeding event
- Aids in scaffolding learning by allowing students to work their way up from a 1:1 student to simulator ratio to a 1:4 ratio
